Oakland Store

Since 1867 the Prud'homme Store has been a place where members of the Bermuda community gathered and exchanged information. The store also served as a post office into the 1980s.

Currently, the Prud'homme Store serves as the visitor center for Oakland Plantation. Oakland Plantation has an entrance pavilion with picnic tables and accessible restrooms. Self-guiding maps of the plantation are available in the pavilion.
 
Magnolia Store

The historic Magnolia Store serves as the visitor center for Magnolia Plantation. The site is equipped with self-guiding site maps, picnic tables, and accessible restrooms.

Ranger-led tours of Oakland Plantation are offered every day at 1:00 p.m.

Ranger-led tours of Magnolia Plantation are offered on weekend days at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

While touring the grounds, visitors may see archeologists, masons, limewashers, and other preservationists at work. Due to the preservation and restoration work in progress on these buildings and the grounds, access to building interiors may be limited.
